What are the thoughts on the Scottish hall of fame withdrawing its nomination for gascoigne? Apparently he was nominated and it was approved and it’s now been withdrawn, I’m not sure what reasons as I’ve seen it’s allegedly because of his health but also because SFA members were to boycott the event .

They're just worried he'll do something daft at their fancy event. It's not out of concern for him. That's for sure!

Without doubt an absolutely brilliant footballer it is heartbreaking to see where he is now and the reactions of the likes of the SFA to him.

Got to agree, without doubt one of the finest non Scottish players to ever play in Scotland. He would be up there with Larsson, Laudrup, Butcher, Wilkins, Moravcik, Petrov...outstanding talents.
