Why the **** would we get relegated if Moyes left? We have some very good players and another manager could even be an improvement ie iron out losing to ****e teams. We didn't even get relegated with Walter Smith and a crap team.

Goat whilst I don't entirely agree with it, that is an epic post with a lot of excellent counter points.

Slavan Bilic would be a great replacement though.

don't kill me FFS

Do you not think, that after say 2-3 Years, when all these very good players in the squad have left and the new man has replaced them with the Stephen Hunts and Joey Bartons, we would be in trouble, show me ANY other Manager whos transfer record even gets close to Moyes.

You are assuming that we'd sell our best players like Felli and sign Barton? That's just silly now.

Well Fellaini or Baines or both are probably out of here this summer, so I guess so. At least Moyes doesn't sign tits. Like I say, faults he has, but the transfer market isn't one for me. It's just what he does with the players once he signs them.

Not scared, just anxious that a manager who has achieved above some expectactions has never truely been given the real crack at the whip he deserves, he has made mistakes of course but i would certainly think twice about replacing him with someone less able.

Did i ever tell you about the time i went into the changies in Goodison on a fathers day lunch? i peeled the whiteboard back and saw a pic of someone on a treadmill with Red hair chained to a boardroom table, the girl doing the talk saw it and slapped it down.

Swear to go this happened.

Anyone frightened of seeing the status quo disappear need to have a word with themselves. Everton is a cosy and closed off gentleman's club at the top, where the manager and board are nicely in synch with the task of slowing down the collapse in our ability to compete in order that the major shareholders can eventually get out with their shares sold off for 4 or 5 times the cost they bought them for. That's the reality and that's the agenda at this club atm, not football and being successful at it, just crisis management.

'People are afraid of change' can be put another way: 'Evertonians are afraid to be Evertonians'.

This Status Quo you talk of Dave, surely a new Manager would come in and break this up, guess how long he would last, then the next Manager, then the next, then the next.

Staus Quo arent that bad really.

Yeah sold Johnson for a profit and could sell fell for £10 million plus profit only flop was Beattie. He has to sell to buy and even then does not always get to keep the funds raised. Are you saying kenwright has backed moyes in the market.

no mate i'm not i'm just saying he has spent big on players at times.

Im not being funny mate genuinely seeking your opinion, would you be happy if Davey was let go this week and by the end of next Laudrup or Solskjaer was the manager.

I'm at a difficult standpoint, i have always always been a fervent supporter of moyes up until the last couple of seasons. There is a part of me that still loves the guy but then there is the Evertonian in me who is appalled at the fact he can't get our players to turn up until the final third of the season. There's part of me that is appalled at some of the football we have to endure.

If this had happened once or twice maybe I could let it slide but 4 seasons this has happened now 4 so if he were to go then for me as a Evertonian who thinks the club comes before loyalty to a manager who once finished 4 and 5th i would not be overly concerned. new manager new outlook.

The players also like playing for Everton Football club not just DM i don't think there would be a mass exodus if he left it doesn't normally happen.
