There’s a good player in there but it’s a big ask for a young lad to move to the Premier League and perform. For this reason I’d not be expecting too much of him until the new year.

There’s an obsession amongst the young lids on the big foreign leagues and YouTube scouting. I hope that this example of him and Deulofeu makes a few think before going overboard with how boss they’ll be.

Sure players like Gabriel Jesus are at a better team, but he has no issue doing the above at 20 years of age.

You could label that at pretty much all of our forward players except DCL and Niasse right now. Weird how it works out eh.

I remember the likes of Fellaini in a similar predicament so it would be daft for the price paid to heap undue pressure on the player right now. Time will tell mate.

I’m more concerned at spending nearly £50m on established players and their lack of contribution. Bad times all round at L4.

To be fair, Deulofeu still had absolutely magical moments with us. A lot of his assists for Rom left you amazed.
