I thought Kone was rubbish, but he was still way ahead of Sandro.
Hope he (Sandro, that is) enjoys the fine weather that is still around in Spain in January.

He's got no one supporting him to play with, same with our other strikers

I don't buy that support nonsense. Arguably, on paper at least, the worst player, less striker, we have is Niasse, and he's still managed to look a threat, even before the recent upturn in form. Sandro has played like a faceless, made up striker you start with on career mode in PES before you get money to buy someone better.

Not saying he won't come good, but I find it baffling how people can still argue that he should be in and Niasse nowhere near the squad, when literally the only thing they can be fairly judged on, appearances this season, it is exactly the opposite.

In the meantime, the least he can do is put a shift in like DCL. That Chelsea game, he came on and it was like we went down to 10 men.

'Putting a shift in' is pretty much the only thing DCL does. If he had dropped deeper, like DCL had done in the second half due to Chelsea keeping a very high line and Gueye going off, and we had no outball at all - we would have really struggled to get a result. To say "it was like we went down to 10" is just pure rubbish, tbh. He was surrounded by decent defenders and midfielders from the minute he came on and still managed to cause some trouble for them. ANY young striker would have struggled in that situation. One of the very few times DCL was up near him and they were able to actually support each other, they showed some good link-up and got us right down the other end.

What trouble was that then?

You say DCL only put a shift in... Well he caused Chelsea more trouble than than Sandro did, and was far more of an out ball as well.

Sandro offered very little, and the one opportunity he had to get on the ball in their half, right new the end, I bottled it and almost fell over the ball.

Maybe we watched different games.

Vlasic would have been better alongside DCL.

Well, in the games I watched I saw Kone score goals, hold the ball up and create goals for other players. Admittedly, he didn't do any of these things too often or particularly well - but at least he showed he was capable of doing them.
Sandro has demonstrated that he is not capable of doing any of these things in the Premier League. I wish him all the best for next season in La Liga

He wasn't in the squad and people still hating on him? Another game which would have suited him - bad defenders and space to run, yet he was left out and once again we were toothless. All the praise of the Putters-in of shifts, though. 10/10 would lose with again.
Hope he goes to Newcastle in January and smashes us for 6.

He’s dreadful, mate.

Because there's a good player in there, it's not exactly difficult to see.

Be a mistake to 'cut losses' on him so early.

Sadly I disagree. But not that I think a player is in there, I think there is, but he wanted to join At Madrid in the summer really, so i've not really felt that he wanted to be here at all.

He will score loads when he goes back home I think.
