I admit I worded it incorrectly, you hit the nail on the head with the word imbalanced as that what this squad is. We were in (and still are to an extent) a bad place when Sam took over, RK couldn't cure it, DU couldn't either and Sam comes in and we get a bounce then goes pear-shaped again. We will never know but I doubt things would have been much better for Silva or the likes had they come in instead of Sam at that time but some posters may you want to believe that the garden would have been rosey had someone other than 'corrupt' Sam at that time.
I was happy when Sam got the gig but yes things are going south at present, if he is gone in the summer so be it, but you see the deals done in January past, nothing serious gets achieved apart from the big squads doing abit so summer and free tranfers are our aims, with who in charge I don't know, but RK & Walsh must take most of the blame for our current problems and walsh should be gone sooner rather than later for his part in that mess.
One final note, about a handful of posters here are 100% anti sam and that is their right, their posts can become tedious after awhile but the whole 'corrupt' line etc that they constantly bandy around is getting old at this point. There must be some folk here inline for sainthoods when they finally hit the pearly gates because I know I am not one of them and thankfully I am 41 with two kids but they will never know what I did when I was in my teens or twenties and I am sure there are people here not proud of things in their past (even Sam maybe who knows) but you get on with it and move on, Sam is only a short term manager of a club that we love, he's not coming around friday evening to look after your sprogs when you and the missus head to Benidorm for a week.

hoped that Lookman would improve at Leipzig. The Tosun comment was also bizarre and made no sense. Sam has no more idea of his top eleven than me. Why no left-back but he gets Mangala and the next week Funes Mori plays his first game !!
Lookman scoring a winner and Del Boy having a top game against Chelski adds to the sinking feeling. Sandro is odds-on for a hat-rick against Madrid or Barca..
Sam has to win games but also he has to create optimism if he is going to get the job. The Arsenal game was his tipping point; from now on he has to win and with a settled team preferably by playing a young player i.e., Benny, Vlasic or Davies regularly.
Final point; Compare Doucare's game for Watford against Chelski against anything that Morgan's done in a year! Our midfield is pants does Sam not see the lack of edge and creativity?

As much as I dislike Sam's management style, even the current manager of the Netherlands could do nothing with this squad. In fact, he took this squad into the bottom three.
Our players, by and large, are rubbish.
