Not a chance "Sam gets top 7"!

I'm only guessing, but I suspect by now it's clear even to him that a significant number of the squad can't stand the bloke, and that's partly why he can't get a tune out of them! Sounds like the pre match preparation for the Arsenal game was watching videos of Swansea and being told how good they are, dear god is that really what it's come to!

I think even the thick skin of Mr A knows that the (majority of?) fans want him gone, and if it goes pear shaped on Saturday against Palace he'll be gently reminded of that in no uncertain terms! Does he care we want him gone - no, cos' all he cares about is the pound notes he pockets every week for "saving us", it's a joke!

And today, pretty much for the first time the local, and even some sections of the national press, are starting to ask questions of him, his tactics which are twenty years out of date, team selections, his man management or lack of it, and his total lack of acceptance of any responsibility whatsoever!

The only reason we might finish top 10 is because of the total lack of quality below us, but top 7 this year is a pipe dream and will be for as long as he is in charge!

This all day. Relegation form we are showing but so are most of the bottom half which is how lucky we are.

Many would say now!

Yes i would definitely say now. We only need another 3 wins out of 13 games to hit the magical 40 points and i am absolutely certain that we dont need Allardyce to achieve that. In fact going from his abysmal performance in the last 8 league matches and his outrageous comments about the season being over when we have just spent another 50 million pound and are still only 5 points from 7th, it would make a lot more sense to do it now and get this negative cowardly vulture out of our club now before he does any further damage to it.

Pretty much this.

Also. Our future is our youth. The next manager HAS to be somebody who embraces that and gives them a chance to develop. Bar Coleman, Rooney, Geuye, Walcott and Siggy I'd get rid of everyone over 25. Bring in a top LB, creative CM and LCB (and striker if Tosun proves not to be good enough) and we're good to go.
Well I can't disagree with the sentiment. A lot of our senior players are not right for us and need to be swapped out for those with a more winning mentality and the drive to perform every game. I think we need to look at the sort of players who were successful at City as they were transitioning - the Milners/ Lescotts/ Barrys/ Bellamys/ Zabalettas/ Kompanys of this world - not overly exciting but they put a rigid backbone into a club that needs to be imprinted back onto the DNA of the club. Who will be our new Reid or Gray? Over to Mr Walsh...

As much as I'm not behind Sam, I'll say this again - he isn't the root cause of our issues.

the cause is bigger than sam, it starts higher up

but he is a major major part of it, he is out of his depth he has made us worse than we were and that takes some doing, some of the performances since he took over have been abysmal, he's a disgrace, so are a majority of the players but yenno what he's picking the team, he's picking the same gutless cowards all the time that just aren't good enough, he's quick enough to jump on players backs all the time mostly the youngsters but he's not once took his portion of the blame, he's a cancerous manager, he doesn't deserve to manage a club like us

I'd literally rather have koeman back than this fat tit

Give me Koeman, Unsworth, Martinez or Moyes over this despicable tit.

Now I feel bad that I based my username on the fat cart horse.

I...erm...what?

As for throwing players under the bus, they deserve to be thrown under an then reversed over countless times the useless gits.
They sure do. But a manager trying to get them to perform, would not being doing this in public. He'd be doing whatever it took to get them working, and if they didn't shipping them out with the minimum of fuss and wishing them well in their future endeavours well away from the club as he bought in replacements.

Public rollickings and blame are a last gasp tactic with very little room for manoeuvre afterwards.

Just an awful manager.

I'm willing to throw in £100 to get a plane above Goodison demanding Allardyce, Walsh, Sammy Lee, Shakespeare get the boot asap.

I don't know what it would cost, but surely it shouldn't cost more than a few grand to hire a plane with a pilot for an hour, attach a big massive bloody banner and fly it over Goodison. Right?

Said this in another thread mate. There are a number of people accountable for our current predicament. Allardyce is part of it, but not the sole reason. We need to be looking at the board and our DOF first.

Is he still here?

Lost it with me, firstly for letting Lookman go, and then being a small minded typical British Football bloke by not understanding how it could be brilliant for him. He and the many people like him in our game are exactly what's wrong with it. Add to that the kind of team he picked for Arsenal and that's it.

OUT.
