He's not fit yet. He's 32 so it's going to take him longer to get up to speed. He wasn't signed to lead the line straightaway. He ran his tripes off. He plays in blue.

He's quite unfit, but completely depleated what he had in the tank - so on effort alone he's doing his job alright.
He is showing a little more with each game. I'm looking forward to Richarlison and DCL back fit though
Great to take a point at Old Trafford in spite of him playing today.
So does Delph a few times a season.
Not good enough. Even when fit you won't get much more from him,we'd have won today with Lewin up top.

Had two opportunities he needed to take on with his first touch, we needed him to do better there.
However I feel we him now starting to emerge as a target, he was getting into better positions and had become more involved.
I understand we want him to be able to hit the ground running like Townsend and Gray but very few signings will make starts to their careers at a new club like the two of them. I think their performances puts some more pressure on Rondon because everyone wants to see him play as well. However, he’s been at the club for a month and went four months without playing before joining, we have to give him time.

He was a better target today. Gradual improve,ent, and as you say, will be on the bench when DCL returns.

I thought he was alright tbh. Held the ball up well and won a good few headers when it was knocked long. Just a bit too slow to keep up with Gray, Townsend, Gordon and Doucoure when we break with pace. But that's fine, he's 3rd choice ST behind DCL and Richarlison.
Have no doubt he'll eventually bag a few. He's a good striker that's just badly out of shape at the moment.

“He’s not fit yet”. What a load of rubbish. The people saying this are the same ones who made excuses for McGeady. “He missed pre-season”. Sometimes it’s just simple, he’s a terrible player and this is as good as he’s going to be.
