Latch

Player Valuation: £15m
Success wise i cant fault him, one of the best managers ever, but the crap he came out with in his post match interview on saturday was mind blowingly hypocritical, he had the decency to say that they ( Everton ) were a much improved side, but what he said after made my jaw hit the floor, " their fans were very influential with the referee ", [Poor language removed] me, this coming from the manager of a side who think every decision against then is an injustice, whose players have a ' surround and intimidate ' mentality towards officials, who think there should be and usually get more extra-time ( at least it looks that way ) at old trafford especially when the bastards are losing, his comment was said with a straight face, how he managed that i'll never know.
I could go on but you get my drift, [Poor language removed] hypocrite or what.

Well Latch the fact that you have called him SAF (Sir Alex Ferguson) is hipocricy, I refuse to call such a **** Sir. Lets just refer to him as Taggert. He doesn't deserve to be held in such high esteem by us!

kidology i think, he puts the onous on the referee being influenced by the oppositions fans although he knows damn well he was unduely favoured especially regards mr scholes.

what this tactic does is keep the referees aware that he will make accusations and that they have to strive to please the lord of the manor.

[Poor language removed] him, and [Poor language removed] them.

Tongue in cheek, but it does annoy me that we call him Sir, after all we know that he got lucky one year, managed to bring through a load of quality kids, which was more to do with the academy coaches then Ferguson. Then follows the obvious Man U money machine and clear ref back handers, all the time we have him moaning at everything under the sun. Then Wenger comes in and he follows suit, then Mourinho and finally Benitez.

So in effect we knight someone who has been nothing more than a pain in the arse for every other football fan bar Man U fan's.

Taggert, always has been always will.

I thought similar about Houillier. Houillier became manager of Liverpool in 98 and was lucky in the way he had the likes of Carragher/Gerrard/Owen who were just breaking through (96/97).

I miss Houllier, what a plank.

In fairness its all mind games, hes right IMO the F.A. are [Poor language removed] scared of him and thats why refs and the F.A. are favourable to United.

Why not if you get away with it.

Houllier has done pretty well at Lyon so he can't have been that bad. No club manager has a duty to anyone except their own club in my opinion. Like I said before, I don't care if other clubs like Moyes or not, as long as he's doing the job for us then I'm happy. I'm sure supporters at other clubs feel the same.

He has done this for so many years I can't remember. I think it took him something like 19 years to come out and say that "We lost to a better team on the day". Otherwise he has just piled on with lame excuses, my favourite being when he blamed their grey third kit for them being unable to string together more than two passes. Narrow pitches, wet pitches, opposition crowds, referees, linesmen, acute blindness when United players hack down someone, general weather conditions etc. The list of lame excuses is endless.
