Should the club sack Dyche?

Unless we have a top class replacement ready to go I don’t see what sacking Dyche achieves

I think we played well in both our home games considering our injury list but he was massively let down by us not signing a striker

Last seasons front 3 was McNeill DCL and Iwobi
McNeill, our best attacker, got injured so we’re playing a kid who’s never played
DCL is always injured and we didn’t give Dyche any alternative so are playing a wide forward as a target man (he’s not one)
Iwobi is crap and injured so we’ve replaced him with a player who is also injured (on loan)
We also used Gray who is very clearly being sold to Saudi for ffp reasons because the profit on his £1.7 fee will be huge and I reckon Dyche has been told not to use him so he can’t get injured

It’s a total disgrace and Dyche has been completely let down
Everyone keeps saying Dyche has been let down, is this the new defence of a manager like "He gets the club" and "We can`t sack another manager" shouts with Lampard...

Dyche himself said he knew the situation he will be in, to come back after a full pre season with the same team as last season and perform worse... If you went on holiday, went back to work and performed seriously worse would your employers not look at removing you from your post.

Yes, he needs a striker (Same shout to defend Lampard aswell and Lampard proved he was an incapable manager), but a good manager or coach will plan tactics to get around this in the short term not just throw someone up there and hope it works, like Maupay time after time.

Little sympathy for Dyche, his own failings have made us worse this season, with virtually the same team as last season.

Voted no, but he has to do something tactically to change things up. One up front, three in midfield is not cutting it.

I would have let him go at the end of last season. Bizarrely I wouldn’t sack him now. You have to give him more than 3 games having stuck with him.

Sacking a manager after 3 games will make us look even more of a joke of a club

Why? Here is how a conversation with a new manager would go:

"Our squad is a shambles and we haven't got the money to do anything to fix it. Fancy a go?"

There’s no difference than Lampard, well apart from conceding more goals.

We have no pattern of play, we create the odd chance throughout the game, there’s no continuous pressure, the style of play is identical - midfield pass it to each other, no movement, back to the defenders, back to Pickford, hoof, to the opposition

People are deluding themselves if they think we are actually playing good.

He is a poor manager but has a track record for producing mediocrity on a shoestring budget and maybe , just maybe that's enough to keep us up this season.
Not sure who comes in and improves this group of players.
Do I like him being Everton manager ? Absolutely not.
Is he here for the long term ? Definitely not.

As soon as we have a take over and are free of FFP / P&S restrictions then I want him gone with a much more progressive coach installed.

Well there really is, fat Sam brings it to every club he goes to, pardew etc all crap but bring stability. It’s what we need now

Allerdyce back in the day brought stability but not in 2023. Allerdyce also won games.

Where are the pardews in 2023? All got sacked because they were crap. Hodgson? Only one i can think of.

Point is its 2023 and managers like dyche dont work anymore. The longer the club takes to realise this the worse off were going to be for it.

Are we attempting some sort of record for the most payoffs for managers ongoing. We can't afford it, and the cliche holds that there is nothing vaguely within our funds currently out there to replace him. Unless you fancy Nathan 'front foot' Jones.

I know it’s daft but two of those were wins if we’d had a striker and luck with injuries

When all present he can set up to play as he wants, no garner on the wing for instance no, no gana/Onana every week
AND we will have a striker before the next PL game, results should drastically improve...

We`ll have to wait and see, I don`t think a striker is the golden bullet everyone believes it to be.

Next 8 games are Sheff Utd away, Arsenal home, Brentford away, Luton home, Bournemouth home, Liverpool away, West Ham away, Brighton home.

I can see 2 wins MAX, 6 points after 11 games basically and the further down the fixture list I read I`m thinking we cant beat any of these teams. Everyone need to start focusing all their energies in to the run in, we are going to need that energy. Last 8 is favourable but again Arsenal on the last day away... reckon that will be a different story this year......

Couldn`t agree more...

Hes not a good manager. But just like with Lampard, he shouldn't be sacked because that allows the owner and chairman to deflect the blame onto someone else

I think Dyche is nowhere near good enough for this club but the thought of another manager losing their job due to the absolute shambles at boardroom level, makes me pretty angry.
