That's the thing about those videos. They can make ordinary players look amazing. I'd still like us to take a chance on him.

A fair as strength goes mate, he's still really young and will get stronger. Also I'd say the Scottish premier league isn't a lot of things, but one thing it is, is physical.

I agree, but it depends what it's showing you. If it's showing someone smashing in goals from distance or taking players on than they can be very deceiving eg, Bily, Mcfadden etc. Some things are harder to fluke though. He's clearly got got vision and quick feet, but that's about as much as you can tell, doesn't mean he'd get the chance to show it against better opposition though.

The Scottish Messi.

Christ Sake.

This Ryan Gauld lad is special. I've seen a bit of him on TV and he looks to have some real class. I've only watched a handful of games but his "vision" and "awareness" is something to behold. Of course lots can go wrong but, for his age, he has cracking potential. I'd love us to sign him, have him around the squad to bed in and then loan him somewhere to get game time.

What happened to that young Scottish striker who we went for a few years ago who was meant to be the Scottish Rooney? Think he played for rangers. Haven't heard much of him since, John something?

What about the Russian Messi lads?

Looks a player. We should sign him up!

Seriously though mate, this kid won't cost anything like what the "Russian Messi" cost us. He's a kid who I imagine we could help develop quite a lot. If he fails then so what. We took a punt on Coleman. Granted it was a respective tiny £60,000 and we'll probably have to pay a fair bit more for this kid, but he's def the kind of prospect we should be after.

Trust me, I'm boss on FM2014 ;)

Always thought it was a myth that this made him look better than he was. It shows that he could finish and score from range, which he could. But the space he was in for all of those chances made it easy for him.

60k is nothing money, even the 1m we spunked on Gueye is nothing money, but im seeing prices of around 6m, for a midget playing in the SPL, im not convinced personally.

For a YouTube video of a player, it's very rounded. I agree with you mate, but if it was a video of him doing the same thing over and over, then I'd be suspicious. The video shows him doing a bit of everything, and a lot of very well timed and placed through balls. That's very hard to teach. You've either got that vision or you don't. Other things can be taught or developed.

Your def right, you just can't tell how he would do until he's given the chance. I'd say give him a rattle. If anything he looks very coach-able.

Didn't know £6m was the bandied price mate. At £6m I would say no.

As for midgets playing football.

Messi (obvious)
Scholes
Zola
Juninho (spell check?)

Imagine that at the top of a 4-2-3-1.

Intelligence on the pitch over size

The flanks are where we could feasibly fit a young squad player in and afford him some game time, especially once Deulofeu leaves, so i'm all for a young promising wide man to come in at the right price.
