We don't really know the exact state of their finances to be able to say the players wages are not being met.

But Valencia appear to be making no effort to replace him IMO means they are not going to agree to him leaving.

Well Moyes must have had some level of encouragement to drive home a WP for the lad. So something has happened, and something else could happen - so I would say it's still as likely, but if it doesn't - he will probably get someone else in.

Windows close at midnight tonight so they've got 2 hours to find someone. may not be enough in their case as I think they had to sack the secretary and sell the fax machine to pay David Villa's wages.

It was in Moyes' programme notes yesterday saying, 'At this time of writing, we have had a work permit cleared for Ever Banega, however I cannot confirm yet that we have agreed a deal with Valencia.' I doubt that Moyes would put this in his programme notes if the deal was not still in progress. Keep the faith!

Bad time for Moyes to be getting dragged into a bidding tussle with the window closing tomorrow and all. This has bad panic buy written all over it if they're trying to squeeze us for cash.

Didn't they already accept a bid from Stuttgart or some Bundesliga side which Banega squashed? Means they're willing to let him go, replacement or not, but at a price I loath to hear. I hope it's something outrageous so if this doesn't happen, I'll feel better about Moyes not getting it done.
