Rubbish!

Fellaini was superb when he came on, Rodwell was superb throughout.

If you think Fellaini is better then Banega or that Rodwell is the answer in 2009, we'll agree to disagree.

Struggled at home against Wigan (who are heading for relegation) Lucky they didn't score on the counter.

Had we lost you'd be singing a different tune.

Why are Wigan heading for relegation m8?
They're a good strong team imho.

No I wouldn't.

I have seen more of Fellaini and Rodwell than I have of Banega, and so have you.

bizarre.

Banega is a different player though, one we desperately need with Mikel Arteta injured. We still lacked creativity from open play today, that was very clear, someone who can open things up with a bit of magic.

I find MF to be slow, lethargic and little one dimensional. Banega is a ball winner who can distribute and create, additionally has a quickness to his game, aagree a type of player we so desperately need as you put it

I can see us getting noone, which will be a disaster. Do we know if international transfers do actually have to be completed by tomorrow?

The Everton manager had been dumped to the turf by Hendry Thomas during the first half when Wigan’s physical approach even strayed beyond the touchline in one deliciously comedic moment. Moyes laughed the incident off, but he was much more serious about a few kicks of his own that he is planning to administer once his squad has been supplemented by the two signings he is hoping to make — Johnny Heitinga, of Atlético Madrid, and Éver Banega, from Valencia, are his main targets — before the transfer window closes tomorrow.

“Three or four players need a kick up the backside,” Moyes said. “I have not been able to do that because I have not had the numbers to do so, but I will do soon.”

He is surprisingly fast when he gets going.
Many think he is slow, but that's because he has a long stride. I would bet he is one of our fastest players.

The difference was today, he actually tried, so went faster. It must have been a revelation for the lad. :dodgy: Played well tho I have to say. He was deffo one of the ones who needed a kick up the backside and got it today. Unless he was inspired by the flag in the Gwladys!

The Banega affair is going right down to the wire . Its not comfortable viewing . This si the one most Evertonians want and I bet Tim Cahill aswell . That lad is suffering and is wasted being played in the position he occupied yesterday .
