Have I got this right - the club wandered into the Home Office and asked for a permit for a player without any provisional agreement in place?

all these web sites and papers are the same.

one journo makes up a story in spain after hearing small rumours that the valencia manager doesnt want to lose banega (he hasnt got a say , the board want shot of banega) , then a couple of other journo's read it and post it as fact , then it justs spreads.

theres is no official source putting down the transfer anywhere.

everton have officially said they have gone for the player and got a permit.

valencia have made no official statement (which would imply a deal 'is' going through)

its just gutter snipe press making things up as they go along imo.
amazing how these people get paid money for what they do !
