He tried a quick freekick against city with a cross field ball, it didn't make it and got cut out, the crowd went mad! if it would have come off we would have had a two on one. some evertonians just want the ball hoofed into the box no matter where the freekick is. they deserve our boring football.

I wouldn't go quite that far but there are definitly certain other players in our squad who give posession away failry regularly.
Regarding Drenthe, if he is giving the ball away from sloppy passes and poor control etc then fair enough, but as people have pointed out he doesn't do that anymore than any other player. What he does do is lose the ball trying to take people on and create stuff, even the best players do that sometimes.
How is that different to our defenders booting the ball long and it going out for a goal kick? I know which i prefer.
