he was decent drenthe though wasn't he

propa tool like but he was decent

scored some boss goals if I can remember as well, Fulham away I think being the best

mad how we had loads of tits under moyes ie drenthe, shandy van der meyde but moyes kept on signing them, deffo love the scraps himself moyes

Off the bench would have been the right move. 1-0 up but under the cosh. Liverpool wouldn't have wanted that flow interrupted by Drenthe carrying the ball distances into their half and them having to build from deep all second half.

Moyes lost us that SF when he decided - probably under advice from Alex Ferguson - to keep Drenthe away from the match.

Moyes' priority was impressing Man Utd not Everton.

The story goes Moyes dropped drenthe because he showed up to training off his Barnet with some brasses and caused murder. He didn't play for everton again after that.

I've said this for a long time. Everton was win win for Moyes.

It was disciplinary mate.

I know what you mean but you can’t have players acting up etc and getting away with it.

He went out on a bender 3 days before that semi and literally tried to break into Finch Farm after hours whilst drunk and beaked out of his mind, with a couple of grasses in tow to boot. How could he be named in a squad after that? Whilst that game was happening he was probably lying in a doss house in a puddle sick of somewhere.

heavy if true that like, but come on a beaked up half cut unliked by the squad drenthe still offers more than what that gueye did

one weird player him, he was a chubby winger who didn't excel at anything
