I see your politeness knows no bounds.
Likely its some of those posters who didn't vote mate, I know at least four of them. When they scream about the ground move now, I remind them.
I see your politeness knows no bounds.
You usually invest some money for a return you know.
I note the huge line of investors lined up to take over.
As usual, its moan moan moan but no alternative plan.
The basic facts;
Kenwright saves the club from the peril of Peter Johnson
Kenwright appoints David Moyes - when fans were screaming for Andy Gray....
Kenwright gives the fans what they want and what they voted for, and builds a stadium.
Next, Kenwright doesn't bow to pressure and secures good investment.
In short, get the statue built.
So our board aren't capable of generating a return on any investment they make - no wonder Kenwright's looking 24/7 if that's his pitch.
Why would there be a queue of investors waiting to take-over something that's not for sale?
There are plenty of alternative suggestions, but it's of no relevance as the board only have "Plan A" - the main suggested alternative is "please don't **** up our club".
Exactly. He's far from from perfect but there's far, far worse out there. People have extremely short and fickle memories.
They'll try to pick that apart with conjecture, assertions and rhetoric now.
You should drop dead with irony dear Sir.
You'll find the one's who are not anti Kenwright are more than tolerable of the constant anti Kenwright grind on this place.
When we speak back, you really don't have many answers which illustrates our point very clearly.
You're just a bluer shade of Sons of Shankly.
Rhetoric and assumptions mate. Kenwright has stated many times that the club is for sale.
The conditions attached to the club apparently don't make it an attractive investment judging by the lack of interest.
One of those affecting conditions is the ground funny enough, which he's trying to do something about.
How do you come to that conclusion?!
The Kenwrong clique cant hold the line here. It's just persoanl stuff against those questioning Walter Mitty. I wont stoop to that. I just state the unalloyed truth and leave it at that. All I'm hearing by way of an argument for the Billster is that "he's sound...he appointed the Moyesiah".
see thread on DK for further details or even more of the DK debate will just be repeated here.
You see mate, GrandOldTeam gave some facts there and most of this anti Kenwright stuff is based upon (usually wild) assertions and accusations.
This has been the theme of this thread.
The extra income/investment would deem its more unlikely than at Goodison.
Hope doesn't pay the extortionate transfer fees of new players to improve the squad unfortunately mate.
I don't see how extra income/investment and better matchday facilities makes it a completely hopeless situation.
They improved after the Wimbledon game which acted as somewhat of a catalyst as it nearly was very [Poor language removed] indeed.
The tickets were much cheaper then though, I'd be wary of us going similarly [Poor language removed] now with prices like they are. Speak to Ghost and Goat about that one.
What about the cap on attendances when we fill the stadium? Surely it would be better to have an extra 5-10k available when the stadium's full.
D-man and I had a sweat on to get tickets for the Wolves game and we ended up with terrible, terrible seats. Not good sport is it?
