Rousing defence of Kenwrong

All were hearing is conjecture and assertions as we've been saying.

Which you've done once again.

Nothing speculative about the FSF scam. It came when Gregg stuck a takeover bid in and went when he stood down from it. (I wonder what Guy de la tour du Pin is up to these days?)

The club are trying to, but they're not being helped by the likes of yourself.

What about me? People like me who are so pissed off with the current board but are forced each year to shell out money they dont have simply for the love of Everton and the misguided hope that for once something good will happen at board room level.

What like the current board room presiding over us getting massively better than what we were?

Hate to spell it out to you fellas, but we've got the best squad and manager we've had in two decades here.

Rhetoric and assumptions mate. Kenwright has stated many times that the club is for sale.

The conditions attached to the club apparently don't make it an attractive investment judging by the lack of interest.

One of those affecting conditions is the ground funny enough, which he's trying to do something about.

The club stated at the inquiry that none of the major share holders intend to sell, they're all committed to DK - was that a lie? Which "facts" are we supposed to believe? I've seen lost of quotes about Kenwright looking for "investment", whatever it is he means by that, I've heard him say that he'd be prepared to relinquish control for the good of the club & that you need to be a billionaire & not just a millionaire to own a club nowadays, but I've not seen him say the club is for sale. Of course, it's difficult for him to do so, even if he wants to, as he doesn't own a controlling interest to offer to a potential buyer - so he's locked into not being able to sell unless other major shareholders also wish to sell to a new owner.

Your last two paragraphs are just "rhetoric & assumptions", mate.

What have they done tho chico? They have done nothing, we get told that they signed this wonderful deal with kitbag, wheres that money gone? Moyes didnt spend it.

We had long cup runs, whilst they didnt provide much money in terms of prize money, they surely helped and with ticket money and TV money it must have given us more income.

Then theres the extra prize money for 2 5th place finishes.

Where has all this money gone? We are still selling to buy, can you explain to me why our income has increased, yet so has our debt?

The players also need to be paid you know, and those floodlights are not solar powered.

No seriously, read back - you stated that DK is that bad that half of the people applicable didn't vote.

Was it because it was so bad or just because they couldn't be arsed?

I was just pointing out another wrong assertion.

No your wrong, the facts speak for themselves. In a vote with only one candidate to vote for, heavily promoted by the Board, less than half of those offered a vote were so enthused by the proposal that they voted in favour. You can choose to interpret that whichever way you choose, but that's the simple fact.

It's no big deal anyway, it's no more than an opinion poll. Everton FC is a business not a democracy, so the Board will always have a business agenda to work to.

There were two options on the poll you know mate, the facts do speak for themselves.

A lot abstained and you don't know the reason why, you assume that its because DK is so bad as that fits your viewpoint. The one's I actually know who didn't vote simply couldn't be arsed.

Hope that clears that up.
