Just left the game here in DC. He looked sharp during the first half. issue being he looked to really be struggling for fitness. hopefully hell get that resolved in time for the season. he looks to be one with a lot of promise.

I think a lot of that had to do with the busted nose..

I reckon we will get to see him early doors. Even more so if we don't sign a wide player.

It's clear how awesome our youth products are. It's to be seen if they are given proper confidence and are put out to show what they are about. Rodwell is 20 so no need to be careful with him. Same is the case with Barkley. If you think they can shock the world then let them go out and do it just like Barca's policy is!

Watched the game and Conor McAnley also looked fairly special, but I don't want to get to far of myself as I thought the same for Kissock, Vaughan, Jeffers...

The question is. IF he fulfils this potential (which I think he will) will we keep hold of him? Is he mentally another Rooney and will want to jump ship ASAP, or is he more like say Rodwell who has appeared alot more level headed & wanting to prove himself at Everton. Let's hope the latter
