Ronald Koeman discussion

Baffles me why the first question from what is usually the 'lead' reporter in the assembled media would ask about the off-field behaviour of Rooney and Jags - surely the most important question and response is how the manager expects his team to react and bounce back after the Chelsea game.

Some of these reporters are pretty poor in my opinion.
..what did/happened to Jags?

Only problem with his straight talking is he occasionally has to be back track a little like he just has over Depay. i.e. he's still a man u player, don't like talking about other clubs players, liked him before (southampton) nothings changed.

In fairness, he only ever said he'd be interested. It wasn't like: "Yeh we're definitely signing him."

I'm sure if asked he'd say that yeh, he'd love to sign Messi. Doesn't mean it's going to happen.

From what I gather, Jags said he'd had a drink or two with Rooney - absolute storm in a teacup and nothing even close to being important as far as the result and performance this Saturday are concerned... in my opinion.

We need to win and ideally win handsomely - that's what matters, not whether Jags and WR have had a bevvie or two on international duty.

haha oh dear, jags is being blamed for drawing with spain and being roped into the scum reporting about rooney drinking?

why don't the media just run a hate campaign altogether during international breaks and pipe booing in whenever one of an everton player touches the ball?

Sounds like that hotel drinking incident is really kicking off. All the major news feeds are now pinging alert after alert on people's devices.
Sounds like some very heavy s*** went down.
I hope no Everton players were involved, especially not Jags...

Storm over nothing but it looks like Jags was his wingman

I like the way that, as a fan base we haven't relied on the media to conduct our hate campaign. We're well ahead of the curve there when it comes to hating Everton players. As for piping in the boos, I can think of a great place to make the recording.

Christ. Good lord.

The man is right though - this forum has gone to the dogs.

Agree with you there.... Look what some muppet posted a few days ago.

I know I'll get slated for this but why not Steve Gerrard on a free? I know I know, but he'd give so much to the dressing room and could probably still do a job at this level. Even if only just for half a season before he retires but still. Don't think he'd be terrible actually tbh.

Not heard that one mate, typical Bedwetter's propaganda most likely.

A load of rubbish.

Oh.
As with a lot of these things, it's difficult to find the source of the 'rumour river'.
But this latest is spreading like wildfire over the whole inter web thingy.
And as the great bard said "where there's fire there's smoke"

Me? Well I'm a pretty level headed fella, not given to knee jerk. But I think this rumour has legs...MOSHiRI OUT! KOEMOYES OUT!!!
