Well done, didn't do a rerun of only fools in the 60s, that would have been the easy opt out. Like I said earlier, it was interesting to see the way the characters became what they are. All the referec=nces were there which carried on into only fools.

Only hope they can make a series out of it.

it was quite good I thought. Not meant to be funny like OFAH was, different type of tv I thought - shaping the characters, and providing the backstory to the Trotters.

In itself it was not bad, a bit like LOSW when they did First of the Summer Wine, it to had a character playing his father. It was interesting as a backstory which most lovers of OFAH will have already known, it won't become a series but I doubt it was ever meant to

It is to be a series. That was the pilot, so unless it went down badly it's going to be a series.

Thought the bit where Nicholas Lyndhurst was playing the man conceiving a child in which he played as a young man. Strange concept.

It was Ghost, John Sullivan was indulging himself a bit I think

what a pile of crap how do these programmes get commisioned.

as for nic lyndhurst playing his dad he was shown in the freddy the frog episode as himself in picture of freddie the frog.:blink:

so you didn't watch the Milan derby:P

Total naff in the most parts.

Ghost says it is due to become a series.....................if it does it will flop or Sullivan will have to find some humour. It was set in 1960 with Del aged 18/20, I felt sure he was supposed to 12/14 when Rodney was born..................I'd have given his mum one though................Monty the toad
