Yes, I did. Admittedly I haven't seen that much of him, but Howard has been dog turd for 2 seasons now. Joel is more commanding, better handling and a much better kicker. And at 23 he's still got time to improve
 

As ive mentioned in other threads, i havent really taken notice of him.

Ordinarily I'm be really happy with this signing, but after alcaraz and kone it just seems like a 3rd wigan player to me.

Is he actually any good? How far behind de gea is he these days?

Yeah he made that mistake vs Spurs but tell me of a top goalie or any goalie for that matter that doesn't make a kstake here or there. Weve got are very own experienced keeper that makes the odd one!. Reina at the sh!te did against us to allow AJ to score, Seaman, De Gea, Flowers, the Arsenal goalie or goalies should I say, etc, etc.

Its fair to say im quite pleased with this bit of business, same with Alcaraz, think he'll be a good squad player and his signing may allow us to get rid of Heitinga so we can use whatever fee we fetch in for him towards more signings?!.

By all accounts Guilleme Balague as said were favourites to sign Deulofeu on loan from Barca aswell and he doesn't usually spout sh!te!.

And to be fair the blunder was more due to Figueroa attempting another backpass, not realizing bale was galloping straight at his keeper. He should just clear that to touch.
 

Great signing! Watched him towards the back end of last season and has amazing talent and looks like he can be a star in the future! If it wasn't for the leaky defense of Wigan's last season this man would've got a lot more clean sheets
 
Good signing IMO, young, cheap fee and looked quite promising in his loan spell at Wigan.

I don't expect him to take Howard's posistion straight away and nor should he. Hopefully he'll get the cup games and keep Howard on his toes. Good thing being he'll be there ready to take Howard's posistion if he's not performing!
