WHAT'S OUR NAME?

if things keep going the way they are now for us and Man U, what are the odds that Roberto will be the next united manager??? and if that happens there's a fair chance BK will give DM his old job back!! I wouldn't have said this six months ago...but what a disaster that would be!!

We wont get 4th. Those four places have been nailed on all season for the two Manchester clubs (despite ginger's shortcomings they'll find a way) and Arsenal and Chelsea.

Very confident now though that we can pick up a Europa League spot if it goes down to 6th this year. And we need European football again to keep our profile up and players happy.

In response to the thread, i'm all for optimisim, but don't want to see our fans become arrogant about our team. Let's remember that despite our unbelievable start we aren't even in the top 4 places. The ****e have had easier games but have still won them and are ahead of us. Hopefully that will change next week but there is still a long way to go.

I really don't think they will get in the top 4 now. A lot of it comes down to confidence and they have none at the moment. Unfortunately Liverpool have a lot of it from their last 2 games, and I think both us and Spurs have a better chance than Man United.

I agree it's going great at the moment, but we should just take it one game at a time and just keep doing our thing, i honestly do feel we can get into the top 4, it will be very tough but i don't see why we can't the way we are playing at the moment, but over the christmas period the games come think and fast and we just need to keep our feet on the floor and take one game at a time, buy yeahh course we can get top 4 because we are Everton.

Spurs have been pretty garb of late, i genuinely think we're better than them and currently have a better chance of top four, but if their big signings start to click they could storm home

We've had the toughest fixture list out of anyone in the top 7, and we're still in touching distance of 2nd place. We're the only one (i'm pretty sure) of those teams who have played all of the current top 4, plus Spurs and Man Utd...

We NEED to string a good set of results together between now and mid-January, when we have a (comparatively) easier fixture list than those around us, otherwise all the amazing work we've done so far will be for nothing.

Arsenal and City are definitely top 4. However I think Chelsea is extremely fortunate to be in the position they are in and if they can't get a striker in could fall. Moyes usually has done well late and RVP might come back but not really seeing it unless they win the C-League. I think Spurs, Liverpool and us have a better chance at top 4 than they do. We stay healthy and turn draws into Ws against the Crystal Palaces of the world I think we have a better than 50/50 shot of doing it.

Not sure I agree there Dave.

They're in disarray & a couple of poor results away from dressing room meltdown imo.

I'd not have a penny on them getting top 4 at this stage. They're not a particularly good side.

The red half have been pretty awful all season. If you're telling me that form is indeterminant and destiny is preselected then we might as well all pack up and go home now. United are midtable because that is the position their football has been worthy of.

There's a long way to go - sod UNT I am made up with RM and talk of him leaving us is rubbish - he has BK he is his own boss - he has a great training ground with a great youth system it just needs BK to look after him and we do not want the ginger on back at any cost!
