Roberto Martinez discussion

Any fight that we showed came from the players alone digging deep. The manager contributed nothing. At least with Moyes you knew he was driving the players on.

Martinez out before it's too late - if it isn't already.

I'm not really sure that you can pin tonight's defeat on Martinez, mate.

I know they have showed battling spirit and a bit of heart tonight, but it shouldn't be coming down to that.

Defended Martinez through all the crap, patience seriously running thin due to him constantly playing an unbalanced side.

I know he is young, he is also managing the best players he has ever managed. However I seriously wonder if he is ruining the confidence of Ross Barkley amongst others.

Something has gone badly wrong this season. I hope he learns from it and becomes a better manager. He has a good side seriously under achieving.

I appreciate we have had a terrible injury problem this season too which hasn't helped.

Forget the Europa league, we haven't a cat in hello chance of winning it. If we don't beat west brom next week we are in a relegation battle, the only consolation being it looks like the players are FINALLY prepared to put a shift in for him.

I really want him to succeed, but he is having a mare so far this season apart from the EL group win.
Just changing one thing here

Utterly crap season, injuries due to pre season being used for glue sniffing, formation changing every second game, team changing every two minutes, and starting inferior players over players that virtually every other team would want (Kev Belg)

Yeah and I suppose it's Martinez' fault when the players play like sh**houses because he's not motivating them or something.

Go away.

this is guesswork

Situations like this you have to go with your gut instinct. 1 win in 12 says he's not contributing as much as he could IMO.

But regardless we stare directly into the face of relegation if we don't beat west Brom and tough decisions will have to be taken. There simply isn't the time to procrastinate.

only my opinion and I hope I can voice it reasonably but I want him gone.
We have had galant failure after galant failure with a team capable of 3rd or 4th.

Palace, Stoke, Hull, West Ham have all outplayed us recently. His team selections are bizarre and I am very worried about our future now.
He could take us down.

I would have voiced this no matter what the result tonight. Individuals stepped up in extra time.
