Roberto Martinez discussion

Ok. I have to say I am just disappointed by todays dreadful result.

Not having a direct stick at the manager btw. I was saying it might not be as easy as we thought to get points against these lesser teams.

Don't worry mate, Davek's lapped out how we can get to the magical 58 point mark this season already. Having our tummy tickled by the top teams and then average midtable form v everyone else will see us nicely into 8th or 9th. Nil Satis.

Away to any club is a struggle unless you're a City or Arsenal on fire in this league.

It really is that simple. Two points were there for us today but you have to give B'mouth massive credit. I'm fuming still, but I have massive admiration for that spirit they showed. I hope they stay up with those donated 2 points, btw!

At least we have to beat these lesser teams at home then hopefully a Europa place next season.

Said it before and will say it again. Martinez would make a wonderful director of football, and who knows one day he might get lucky and accumulate enough talent to overcome his lack of coaching ability. He is not a great coach though so we will continue to have incredibly talented sides finishing midtable or average sides flirting with relegation.

That was no struggle today the players gave up and the manager let them

Every squad we've had since the 80s is always described as the best one since the 80s.

It's a young squad that sometimes plays with naive abandon. As Wooly said earlier: you take the rough with the smooth of it until they get experience.

We're on the right path headed in the right direction. It's all good.

the weird thing is our exciting highs bring lower lows, if that makes sense...
