Contrary to Nevin, I have a horrible gut feeling RM will be here next season. I hope to hell that will not be the case.

I would be astonished if he was.

Moshiri deals in facts and figures. Even an FA Cup win will not mask the inescapable conclusion that the man is fatally flawed in the really important foot race every year; the league.

Nice bloke, has done some great things, (1st season, EL, mainly, FF, etc), but he is an idealist, and football has little sympathy for them when that car is slammed at 90 mph into a breeze block wall with "reality" sprayed all over it.

What you comment may be but as yet we have no evidence of Moshiri having the strength to bring down the axe.

True.

But on the other hand, why would he sack him on the eve of a semi final? Serves no real purpose this late in the day.

Personally, I think he is lining up a high calibre manager, (based on what others better placed than me have said), and Martinez might deliver a pot anyrate.

Besides still being livid from last night and I was at the 5-0 at home back in 82. I still don't have much to add besides venom and anger.

The only thing I would say at the moment is Everton are being held hostage to Bill Kenwright's ego.

I thought long and hard about whether Martinez could possibly overturn last nights complete and utter surrender and turn it around for Saturday. The justification and reasoning for keeping him on. I can't come up with an answer, he should have been sacked, cup manager or not.

Any Everton manager who goes to that place and fields a team that abjectly surrenders not once but twice there, has to be sacked. Irrespective of where we are in the cup. Our tradition and motto demand it. There is only one man who is responsible for undermining that legacy and it's Kenwright.

Profiteering out of Everton is one thing. I guess you could call it business after all. But standing by while Evertonians are humiliated, in my book that's unforgivable. Any leeway that I would afforded him has completely gone. No Evertonian would stand for that. He's a treacherous coward, a black mark on our fine club. Take your feckin' millions you've made out of us and feck off down to London. You're no Evertonian mate.
As Bill is an Evertonian he ought to do the right thing and admit his mistake

Nor me. Just hoping that Weds was the nadir.

Martinez is gone, we know that, so the players must.

A semi, at Wembley. They dont come around that often. Wouldnt surprise me if they collectively lob whatever Martinez says over the cliff and get stuck in, and play football like professionals.

So that's you and me at least clutching at the same set of straws ;)

I think there's a chance Martinez would resign if he won the cup. Deep down I think he knows he's lost the dressing room ad it can only get worse.

Yet if he walks away, he'll have two FA Cups with different teams on his CV, both for clubs who hadn't won anything for decades. He would get another job or a chance in Spain on the back of that. I think it would be a nice ay for him to go.

I know but I'm shot. Never in my life did I expect to feel like this about a semi final of a trophy I hold in high regard.

I don't trust any of them to get a result tomorrow mate, at all. It kills me.
Not many of us expect to go through.. On current form.

But we will all be singing them on tomorrow.

We will go 1-0 up and start singing "we shall not be moved" I will then have tears in my eyes thinking of those who we've all lost and who would love to be there with us.. And them Rom breaks through and smashes in to make it 2-0 in injury time.

Limbs everywhere.

Im telling ya..

This is on.

Sadly that still screams of a final result of 3-2 to United
