As a person, if he was not a footballer/manager, he fits perfectly as salesman, he has what it takes to sell you anything with his words/personality/looks

...dunno y'know mate, think that's a myth, he's failed to sell the players his 'philosophy' after all...

We need for one day put a differences with the manager aside. If we go to Wembley with the current attititude we become our own enemy. By all means let's advocate for change but he is whether we like it or not leading us out tomorrow and for those 90 minutes we need to support our football club and yes that includes manager as well.

Hmm.

Not sure mate.

That first season they all bought into it and we bore the fruits of that.

I think the shift has come in that, while the players appreciate and respect what he is trying to do, he has now shown he is incapable (bordering on unwilling to) of fixing the mistakes that happen time and time again.

West Ham was the turning point for me when the players went against him.

They played for themselves in the cup with a vibrant Goodison behind them.

Back to tosh against Arsenal the week after and it's continued that way.

The only hope I have is because the players (who are by no means blameless in this) will at least be playing to win something tomorrow. Not for a league season that's already ended.

But, my general point is I think they all 'buy-in' to the style on a whole, but they all know that RM is too stubborn to change the things that need changing.

I like the articles last night in amongst the Martinez stuff that Moshiri wants to make us a "powerhouse" in the PL and will back the club to the tune off 100 mil in the summer without relying on sales.

Surely he wouldn't trust Martinez with that?

Can you imagine the optimism around Goodison if we got in a top manager with a good reputation, kept the quality we already have and then added three or four genuine top class players to that before next season?

What an enjoyable summer that would be! Sitting on the couch watching the euros puffing on a big Havana..

...agreed mate, and who knows, KONE could turn out to be an absolutely fabulous center-back...;)
