Picture the scene: Moyes comes back on a tiny contract until the end of the season, wins the cup, does a managerial mic drop and leaves. Enter Pellegrini/Jose/whoever to usher in a new era of success.

We'd love it, right?
No...I would rather chop off my knob & sit in a bath of vinegar than have that dithering ginger tool in charge of our club again.

Surely hes not asked for a new contract?

Best time to do that would be if he won the cup or had some league wins...

Notice Deulofeu and Robles have come out in support of him.

What did Robles say?

Deulofeu just said everyone should get behind the team, manager included, and the players should give their best in the coming week... Not that everyone did give their best (save for 15 minutes), but still...

Robles was quoted in the mail as saying:

Players to blame not the manager.

Deulofeu also said he is happy with the manager as did Robles. I cant link it but its on the mail online today.

Fair play to them. On the flip side Baines caused issues with his comments (intended or not) and the other senior players Jags and Barry just came out with nonsense.

Hopefully Deulofeu gets a start on saturday and shows his backing with a good performance.

What I thought as well, about the Del comments and the final bit there.

I don't think either Baines, Barry or Jags came out with nonsense, just their personal concerns that should've probably been talked over with the management staff before the media, but I can see why they did it personally - more or less after they did Martinez came out with the "My way is the best way and I'm not changing it, we will start winning soon enough". Imagine going to your manager and having worries about things and he just disregards you, tells you you're wrong and moves on, despite you not being the only one with concerns and the team playing incredibly bad. I can understand SAF or someone like Brian Clough doing that - proven winners - but someone with a grand total of one FA Cup and a relegation to his name, who keeps insisting his way is best despite the results? Wonder why players have no chemistry and look like they're just playing the season out...

Any negatives should be kept in house. If SAF was manager Jags baines and Barry would all be sold...

Very poor and just shows theres no leadership in the team and thats down to Martinez not signing a captain.
