Players are not going to play for him, atmosphere will be toxic... I am by no means suggesting DF is ready to take over managing a PL side, but you don't have to name the full time replacement right away, and at least he would demand a little pride in the shirt.

True enough. Don't know it would make a tinker's bit of difference as to how the season ends, IMO. If it wasn't for the FA Cup, I'd be wishing it was already over. Come Saturday night, I still might.
