If we were to win the Cup and part on amicable terms, Bobby's three years at Everton will look pretty decent on his C.V.

First season achieved that club's highest points total in the EPL era.

Second season comfortably won their group and progressed in the knockout stages of the EL.

Third season won the F.A. Cup.

On the face of it, not too shabby at all :)

I think you've been posessed by Davek. lol

3 matches at Anfield.

2 losses
1 draw
9 goals conceeded
1 goal scored

but no, he is simply 'unlucky'.
I think before last night he probably would've got away with this had he been given the sack. The press saying he was "unlucky" and "was building something" but they can see now what most of us have for a long time, not good enough.

As it's been said, he's lost the changing room, so barring a miracle we'll get knocked out anyway, so all this theorising is a bit pointless. But, if he wins the cup that may show that he's got the players back on side. At the very least.

I'm not backing Martinez to the hilt here, and, ideally, last night should have been his last chance, but winning the cup is a massive thing, huge for us.

If we win the cup I would put it down to the players wanting a medal, rather than Bobby winning them over.

Let's just get one thing straight here - he's not even getting us to the final let alone winning the cup!!

We'll get another public bumming on Saturday and Martinez will still be our manager on Monday morning. He'll either be staying until this summer or maybe even next season too.

Grim times :dodgy:
