Robbed by the referee

I wouldn't say robbed, majorly hindered tho.

City are a very good team, we were a little short. Etiad, with no Barry, a half fit mirallas and Naismith playing was always gonna be tough.

He was a disgrace. decisions like his cost in terms of momentum too. If he gives them their pen, how has Lukaku not got got his pen? It's just corrupt. The feller was under examination after recent decisions he ****ed up on. How can he fail to be demoted after that? Of course, he gave the decisions to the right team in the sense that they would have caused a fuss but we no doubt wont, so he'll be fine.

He was absolutely awful, and a key point of the game was denying us the penalty at 1-1 and then City scored not long after. However if we played like we did second half, even at 2-1 to us at half time we would have struggled

Irrelevant how a team plays, the referee is supposed to be impartial and aid the game. He was inconsistent, panicky and cowardly.

I think Man City deserved their win but had we had our pen and scored, it would have been a different game. Had they not had that stupidly soft pen, it would have been a different game. Without consistency it's no longer 11 vs 11, and thus no longer fair, and sport that isn't fair isn't sport, it's just a fast way to ruin a f*cking weekend.

After the Cardiff game as well, I'm just furious. Martinez needs to lodge a complaint or something because it's hard enough winning games as it is in this league.

If we get the Lukaku penalty and get to half time 2-1 up it would have been completely different game.

We were robbed of the chance of getting a result, not saying we would have got one but after they got to half time with the lead and then got the penalty as well we didn't have much of a chance.

The way the game panned out City definitely deserved the win but it could have been different.
