Couldn't agree more with your last comment. We are far too gentlemanly and far too easy on the refs. Compare this with the mid-80s side -- even when we got the decison they'd still be giving the ref an ear full! They were in the refs ear all the time. Coincidence that that was when we were clearing up trophy-wise? Don't think so.

Of course not. But hounding the officials is all part of what it takes to win things. It does make a difference. Name the last side to win the league who didn't. Difficult isn't it?

Exactly. The RS have had Gerrard and carragher in the refs faces, every derby for the last 10 years. Look at how decisions have favoured them. We need to stand up for ourselves, not lie down and accept it, when every 50/50 decision goes against us like it did on Saturday.
