Rivalry weekend (real rivalry, not the Meeja inflated Malaysian Derby)

They are in London though.
Going from my formative years of travelling up to watch EFC away games in London, Chelsea's derbies, if they had any, would have been against Fulham or QPR. Since both clubs had smaller more upmarket fan bases (although I liked Loftus Road) there was never really the kind of derby thing you are talking about.

Chelsea's real London rivalries, I think, would have been West Ham and Millwall, for obvious reasons, plus maybe Spurs as a rival 'glamour club'. (This was in the days of Jimmy Greaves, etc.)

You see the Palace/Chelsea games as one of your more significant derbies dont you mate?
I would put our Derby games in this order of importance;

1. Brighton
2. Millwall
3. Charlton
=4 Chelsea / Arsenal / Spurs / WHU / QPR

Ridiculous to a point as Brighton isn't a derby in the historic meaning of the term. They are certainly rivals and there is real enmity but it's not a derby. Millwall is our derby really. Nearest club and we played them very regularly between 1920 - 2010. Charlton were the team in South London for the early part of the 20th century and our paths seldom crossed but there have been some incidents in and around games over recent years. They loath us since having to share Selhurst in the 80's. We feign indifference. Chelsea etc are Derby games. None are far away but as we've only played them in c16 of the last 50 years and almost never before, they don't consider us rivals. We don't like QPR and they don't like us but we're not rivals but it's relatively local, a bit like Everton having a game v Tranmere.

We've also got a Lancashire derby, Blackburn v Blackpool; Greater Manchester derby, Bury v Oldham; and last but not least, the claret and blue derby, West Ham v Burnley.

Brighton - Palace the major rivals. Strange.

chelsea and spurs is probably the nastiest derby in London outside wall v West Ham and it’s on a par with Arsenal spurs .

Hibs

Palace, but if things don't go well for us I'll be reluctantly hoping the rent boys win.

Celtic, for obvious reasons but I'm not a big fan of either club to be honest.

Forest Derby, Wrexham Chester, NEA.

Nottingham Forest and Derby County.I rivalry that i think people underrate tbh, in terms of aggro.Derby seem to be falling apart at the moment. So hopefully Forest will deal their promotion hopes another blow.

Got to say, that United/Liverpool game was an exciting watch
Predictable though. It was exactly how most people believed it would unfold. The only point of interest was how precisely Jose was going to do it...in particular how he'd keep Salah quiet.
