Right now this club is a shambles

The pressure will mount. They'll cave in. The whole organisation has quickly come into disrepute of late and it must make it more difficult when going to investors if our PL status as a top half team is being undermined after spending a fortune. It'd make Moshiri et al look like they are amateurs.

Unless we make the first move, they'll probably wait until Bilic or Hughes get the chop

Evening Toffee, Ross Barkley isnt the issue here, hes currently injured, the issue is whether our de facto "owner" would sack a failing manager, history suggests Kenwrong wont, Moshiri will.
The issue I was talking about to @Eggsyblueskin was Barkley. You brought up managers.

Of course Moshiri will have a say in Koeman's future. Let's hope he does his duty and soon.

I think we need to let them know we aren’t happy boooing isn’t going to do anything.

In the old days we would have voted with our feet.

This current fiasco and lamentable football would not have been played out in front of full houses every week.

They would be lucky to get 26,000 or thereabouts.

That woul£ soon send a message to Moshiri.

But now that nearly all the seats are sold as season tickets, not going the game as a form of protest has ceased to exist.

So we can’t stay away to show our displeasure.

Cushion chucking is a thing of the past.

So the only thing we can do is boo the buggers off the pitch at the end of yet another clueless, rudderless and heartless performance.

....and then we get blamed on here for doing that if we do get beat....cant win can we?

Might just be me, but on the rare occasions we have a decent chance, I've seen players go for a shot instead of passing to a better positioned player. Saw Klassen do it the other day. With the whole team under pressure and no one putting in a decent consistent shift, they try and take glory to relive the individual pressure on themself instead of rolling it to someone else.

I've seen more than enough evidence over three seasons to know that Barkley is our most gifted player. If there's a more gifted player in this squad I'd like to hear who it is.

I'd say Davies, Pickford and Siggurdson fit that bill I.e. 'More gifted' closely followed by Lookman.

Anyone who's seen RB play and knows their football will want him in their squad.

Hopefully he sits tight and signs nothing with anyone until this disaster zone is cleared up.

Most want him in the squad, me included, but he doesn't want to be....and I don't see that he'll be our saviour

Do you see Barkley a blame free in this situation?

A league campaign is 38 games long, we are currently struggling, but a win tomorrow and we are right back in the mix.

Lets keep our heads lads.

We dont want Everton to just be another sacking club, surely we are better than that?
On the assumption that a change will be made imminently, it could be argued we will have gone from 1 manager in 11 years to four in four years.
Doesn't look good on paper.

We are not "just another sacking club" neither is the"club a shambles".
We have always given managers time to get things right, the club have backed Koeman with money in the last window,. I don't know what happened with a centre forward or another centre half but I do know we spent an awful lot of money on players who play very similar roles. We have spent on areas where we didn't really need to and ignored others. We seem to persist with some players who aren't up to the jib. Those things are down to the manager. In order for the cub to give the manager the time he needs to get things right that manager needs to have a vision, he needs to show that he is capable of improvement, we are going backwards. Koeman isn't really selling us a vision of his futures , he seems to be incapable of articulating what it is he is trying to achieve. I definitely don't want us to be a knee jerk club but neither do I want us to persist with a busted flush just to be different from everybody else.
The club is not a shambles, it really annoys me when people, supposed supporters , say it is. Our first team is a shambles, Thursday night was a disgrace on many levels but our club is so much more than a first team group. If you need that spelling out then, I'm afraid, you are missing the point.
