Right now this club is a shambles

A league campaign is 38 games long, we are currently struggling, but a win tomorrow and we are right back in the mix.

Lets keep our heads lads.

We dont want Everton to just be another sacking club, surely we are better than that?

Good post Goat, but where would you draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough with regard to Koeman

I thought he was a great appointment, but I believe I was wrong, and the time to pull the plug is nigh

This. It's not just about the results for me (which are obviously important) but the football being served up. It's dire and I can't see it improving under moon head.

Talk of Moyes coming back?

We wouldn’t have to endure that if Kenwright didn’t have a big say at this club.

I honestly believe in some ways this would cause the unrest that’s needed to see change at this club. The levels of anger and unrest would be unreal

our club is so much more than a first team group

I agree. The club, the achievements of the the under 23's, youth policy and the work they do in the community do a fine job. And as a supporter I'm proud of the way they conduct themselves.

Primarily however it is about the first team and by your own admission it is in a state of shambles. Unfortunately everything else pales next to that. Because that is the clubs reason for being. I'm sure if you could win the league by being Mr. nice guy, Everton might win every year.

Ruthlessness, nastiness, dirty tricks, subterfuge, wealth etc...that's what it takes to win. It's unpalatable but honestly I don't think I have seen a side in 40 years who haven't employed that strategy. It's unfortunate but that is what takes. It would be nice to compete maintaining the higher moral ground. But we all know, deep inside the reasons why Chelsea and Man City and even United win the league year after year.

There's a reason we used to be called the Mersey Millionaires and it's really not about money. But you do need a chairman, board of directors who want to win and more importantly the ability to sign players and a manager with a winning mentality and talent. We have talented players. I question the winning mentality throughout the club.

I wonder if the players are upset at the treatment of Barkley.

Not saying its justified as he has been a model unprofessional, but I do wonder.

Even through his worst period with us, you could see what Martinez was trying to achieve tactically on the pitch. Possession based, slow build up and using the full backs as your creative output. It failed horribly in the end of course, but you could see what he was trying to do.

I watch this Everton side and they look lost. I can't see what our tactics are supposed to be. We just sort of move it forward a bit, then freeze in the hope someone will step up and do something.

Absolutely shambolic tbh.
