Holgate did a great job earlier in the season. Hopefully he gets the nod and we don't try shoehorn Jagielka there.
Jagielka is well able to play right back and got international caps in that position.
However, it will most likely be Holgate or Kenny....unless Barry ?

an entirely left footed slow as a turtle defensive midfielder whose 35.
an exceptionally slow, centre back who hasn't filled in at right back for about 4-5 seasons and who is now 34

Pretty sure we will go with Holgate or Kenny given those 'options' mate

Although Coutinho's form has fallen off the edge of a cliff recently so you never know. Think it'll be Jags myself.

One thing that we can all accept is that the one thing Jags' doesn't have in his locker is pace.

A fine reader of the game, happy to track runners from deep, keep a reasonable line, make a block....all features of his play, but to ask him to play full back in the Derby? Or any other game....he don't deserve that. Playing Oviedo as a make shift right back was horrible enough.

I can see us going three at the back, Williams, Jags and Mori with Baines and either Holgate or fitness permitting McCarthy filling the other side.

Despite his lack of first team experience , I'd be happy with Kenny slotting in if required. But please, let's forget the option of Jags.

Holdgate or Kenny in that position for me, although I'd probably prefer us to play 3 at the back
