Why say his injury is only minor and he should be back for Tuesday if he isn’t? Any medical professional worth their salt could say that a player won’t be ready for a game two days after a game they were ruled out for.

Everton medical team being incompetent fools yet again.

Maybe so a team will plan to face our set up with him in it if he isn’t, or vice verse.

I think it’s counterproductive to our own fanbase. With Richarlison I’d expect to win tomorrow but now I think a lot of people will be going into the match on a bit of a downer given how terrible we are without him.

I don’t really think they’re arsed how Crystal our fans are. Think they’re probably just concentrated on the winning the game regardless of who’s playing.

I do, we win a huge majority of our points at Goodison and that’s partly down to the fans.

Telling the fans their best player will be back for the game and then snatching that away a day before is going to have an effect on how people view this game. I think it’s espe relevant given how terrible we played against West Ham without Richarlison.

He wasn’t, which was my point. They should have just said he’ll miss both games instead of raising fans’ hopes that he’ll be back for this.

They said the other day that his injury was only minor and he should be back for tomorrow. Ancelotti has now ruled him out.

ohhh I see what you mean.

yer does seem daft not just ruling him out of both considering there is only 2 days inbetween

You think the fans just wouldn't have noticed that he wasn't playing if we'd kept quiet about it then?

We're generally less effective up top without him, which is obviously a blow.

Let's face it though.. the kid could do with this time away from the pitch really. Not the end of the world.

We still need all of our players to step up to the plate - tired of relying on individuals personally.

Yeah , grudgingly I agree . He's one player we couldn't afford to rotate .

Fans just need to grow a pair.

Gutted he’s out we clearly missed him against West Ham not looking forward to this game as much now feel like it’s going to be a cold boring night game as that team on Saturday was poor.
