Ipswich boss Paul Lambert says the scarcity of coronavirus testing in the EFL is "putting people's lives at risk" after he tested positive for the virus.

Just been to aintree racecourse for a covid test prior to the game and was gutted to find I tested positive,however as I had no symptoms as such I am so thankful we are the only club with this testing policy in place,I have vulnerable over 80s parents to consider and what a risk I would have been rocking up at Goodison,although I feel like crying,this sums up to me the peoples club tag.

Sorry to hear about your test result. Hopefully you remain symptom free mate. Bit of a bugger missing the match, but in the grand scheme of things the health of you and your family come first and as you say it's good to see the club are doing the right thing.

Although I have a ticket for tonight and I got a negative test at the Tennis Centre last night, I am seriously considering not going to the match. I have to turn up at 6 p.m. so I'll be in the ground for four hours mingling with hundreds of other people on a freezing cold night,
On reflection, applying for a ticket in the first place was a bad decision.

A lad who sits opposite me in work has been off and returned a positive test yesterday so I can only think that's were I've got it.
