It'll be classified as a terror attack due to the fact it seems to be a planned attack on parliament. Intentionally mowing people down, crashing into parliament gates then racing into the yard with a knife before stabbing a police officer.

Counter terrorism officers will be onsite immediately to make an assessment of the situation

To be honest, isn't it slightly presumptuous of you to judge whether it is or isn't until a motive is declared? It does have many hall marks of one.

I can understand why you would want to but I don't feel comfortable debating the issue because to be honest it doesn't really matter what I think about it. If I am wrong on my way of thinking then at the very least it gives a reason to what happened today. Otherwise it leaves the people today suffering or worse for no reason at all.

Sorry to be an arse about it. It just doesn't sit comfortably to be talking about hypothetical things right now when that part doesn't really matter at the end of the day.
