Are we thinking that maybe MI5 are keeping an eye on restaurant reviews and then trying to take out key individuals from poor performing businesses? A hefty price to pay for undercooked pasta, but I think it's a good move.

Perhaps. They certainly have gathered all the decent restaurants in the area to "their" road - the aforementioned Sapori, but also Firecracker, the Laughing Halibut, the Regency Cafe and the cafe opposite the Regency where people who don't want to spend twenty minutes in the queue go. It is almost an oasis of taste, compared to the wasteland that is the rest of SW1P (and SW1V for that matter).
