Reports: Besic to Middlesbrough

I wish him well, its been a long long time since we have seen anything like that player we saw in fleeting moments in his first season.

He's not good enough for the championship. Needs to be League 1 or Scotland. The championship is too fast and rough. I worry for the poor lad's bones. Ultimately I see him playing in somewhere like Greece or Portugal with a Europa League team

Yeah, something isn't quite right with this lad. Even when we were in the midst of Unsworth's midfield experiments he didn't get near the team. Baningime was preferred. A shame, but he never transferred the glimpses of potential into consistency for us. Unlucky with injuries though.

I'm fairly reserved when it comes to dismissing valuations out of hand these days mate, Watford rejected a £30m bid for Troy Deeney. It doesn't seem to matter how crap, old or injury prone a player is now, there're a lot of idiots with a lot of money out there who can surprise you.

I sincerely hope you are including us in that last statement

Imagine he was English, had no tattoos and was called Mark Baker instead of Mo Besic. Everybody would deem him about League One quality.

Is there ever an Everton injury that isn't bad luck, long and drawn out?

It's a shame McCarthy got injured as I was really getting excited about us being able to sell him for being crap. Expecing to be called all sorts now, but I didn't wish an injury on him and do wish him a quick recovery. Would love to see the back of the majority of our midfield... McCarthy, Besic, Schneiderlin, Bolasie, even Gueye I wouldn't be arsed about us losing.
