Oh the irony. 'Proper' Blue, you.

The only 'fecking oddballs' are the ever-decreasing number of people who refuse to accept the reality of the situation and gloat over fans who are concerned, labelling them as doom mongers and scare merchants.

Accusing fans of wanting the team to lose/fail is way out of line. Especially as certain people who do this are more concerned about winning an opinion poll on the internet than they are about the fortunes of EFC.

And when (not if) we stay up, the same people will be indulging in some sort of lap of honour on here, claiming a victory of sorts, and accusing their opponents of 'wanting us to go down.'

It's beyond pathetic.

I never said it was the definitive I just said from a certain perspective it looks like some people are taking pleasure in poor results. I'm no uber by fan, I've had my moments in the past of home and away seasons, cup runs etc etc but I'd imagine no more or less than your average Joe on here. So the point of trying to make me look like I'm a self styled "proper" blue is ridiculous. Being a fan comes from the heart in my opinion not the wallet.

There'll be no victory parade when its impossible for us to be relegated, there may be if we win a trophy. You know the one we're still looking good in like. I mean would you rather get a open top bus tour for the 5/6/7 place finish or would you feel less like a [Poor language removed] celebrating being Europa league cup winners ?

Happy to let the boys in blue settle this down tomorrow.

The scaremongers and doom merchants who enjoy our situation and wallow in it will be piped down then.

They'll be back in their bunker licking their wounds at 6pm tomorrow, thank ****.

Is that all you're arsed about, what I'll do?

Jesus wept. Your team is having a rubbish season. Live with it and stop looking for scapegoats or someone to magic up a better one for you.

It is what it is. Tough sh1t if you cant handle it, many of us can.

I'll leave the handling of sh*t to you, mate. Judging by your posts of late, you're the expert.

Whats scary is seeing how much Burnley were up for that game against a side going for the title, how Villa, Palace and WBA have all changed managers and turned things around, we also have 2 sides behind us on goal difference, worrying times
Definately. Although, I reckon a game like Newcastle can be a blessing in disguise in a way. Think they'll play open enough for us to play, and not the park the bus arrangement. But they either turn up and play class or they're shambolic. Up to us to make sure it's the latter.

If we did win then things look a lot rosier, and hopefully we'll have confidence going to Kiev and QPR.

our young players will learn from this season, they didn't even contemplate being in this situation back in August. They'll learn plenty from having hard knocks, hearing an angry crowd, knowing what it's like to go onto a pitch knowing that the pressure is really on ,not to get up the table, but to get away from the bottom.maybe they will learn that winning and success isn't a god given right.Personally I reckon they'll be fine, but really i think we're fortunate it's happened this season as there's 3 teams poorer than us.

Decent day today: 4 of the 6 below us all dropped points.

Of course that will be spun by the scaremongers, who've spent the best part of this season on here trying to frighten the life out of people, as a terrible day.

It isn't. It's a good one.

Three points tomorrow and this job done. Onto Ukraine and the QFs of the EL.
I've just realised that you're just having a laugh. I'd been thinking you were serious all this time.

Your math is astounding. Pray tell, Mr. Caricature, what are the 4 that went our way this weekend? Remind me again too, we're suppsoed to have been 9 points clear tomorrow, now its 6?
Davek remember thought Villa beating WBA last week was a great result for us. He's a funny guy. Hee-hee not ha-ha of course.

What, you dont think it's true that 4 out of the 6 bel;ow us dropped points today and if we win tomorrow we put more distance between us and them?

Go and have a look at the results and table to confirm it.

Think so?
