Decent day today: 4 of the 6 below us all dropped points.

Of course that will be spun by the scaremongers, who've spent the best part of this season on here trying to frighten the life out of people, as a terrible day.

It isn't. It's a good one.

Three points tomorrow and this job done. Onto Ukraine and the QFs of the EL.

Delusional. We're now banking on a win against a side above us just to be the same number of points off the relegation zone as we were when the weekend started? What if we lose? There's a reason they call it the 40 point mark, a few have predicted we'd be safer rounding it down to 36 this season, but there's an attitude on here that despite needing probably 11 more points that the teams below us just won't get the points needed. That has now been proven wrong. Villa have strung 2 wins together which some where calling impossible only two weeks ago. Palace and West Brom have moved away from it, and now Burnley have just beaten City. We have some absolutely huge 6 pointers at Villa (looking a lot harder now) and QPR. We are right on the knife edge yet you're still peddling the old line of oh well Sunderland or Hull will drop in. We are running out of teams worse than us. Only takes one of them to get a new manager bounce and any of a few teams could overtake us with one result. Its now at the point I think that if we lose tomorrow he will go.

It's not 'on here' mate. It's pretty much just the D man.

Most of us are realistic on where we are.

And I don't think he'll go if we lose tomorrow. Out on Thursday then I'm not as sure!

It will be a dire draw tomorrow. Just 4 more wins needed though to be safe, so hopefully one will be Newcastle.

Your math is astounding. Pray tell, Mr. Caricature, what are the 4 that went our way this weekend? Remind me again too, we're suppsoed to have been 9 points clear tomorrow, now its 6?
All dropped points and all below us

Hull
Sunderland
QPR
Leicester

Simple when you think hard enough isn't it?

You're hopeful, Dave?

Aston Villa, who YOU said wsa dead and buried, level on points
Burnley, who YOU said was a lock for the bottom 3, 3 points back after beating City.
West Brom 1 point ahead, now 4.
Hull is now level on points.

Because thats being disingenuous by saying '4 went our way'.
