I don't understand how you can be so confident we'll avoid relegation. We are right in the mix now. Anything could happen.
Two of the bottom three lost points today. One got a big result. Others just above them like Sunderland and Hull had poor days. We have a game in hand to make those slip ups pay.

Is it just me, or don't you see the positive in that?

Mate, there is nothing positive about even having to look at Sunderland and Hull to see us as being safe.

It's about as far from positive as you can get.

We will play our game in hand tomorrow and will lose

Decent day today: 4 of the 6 below us all dropped points.

Of course that will be spun by the scaremongers, who've spent the best part of this season on here trying to frighten the life out of people, as a terrible day.

It isn't. It's a good one.

Three points tomorrow and this job done. Onto Ukraine and the QFs of the EL.[/QUOTE You write some complete garbage on here on quite regularly. Three points tomorrow is not guaranteed like you seem to think in fact one is not a gimme. If we fail to pick up anything we are well and truly in it up to our ears. If he starts the game with the slow passing garbage that has been served up for most of the season we will get beaten and he should walk.

We are where we are (would you like me to try and magic that away?).

Some people need to start dealing with the reality of a terrible season and the need to keep a level head.

Anyone saying martinez hasn't changed things is deluded.

1 winger on the field

no bombing forward full backs

Picking experience (barry, naismith, Howard) over youth (besic, barkley, robles)

slow compressed build up

Fact is last season was martinez going half and half, playing his fancy way whilst understanding the players would not be to
comfortable with full on tiki taka hence the quick wing play and width added and we were boss. Now Mr ego has gone onto transformation complete mode and we are wigan.

If you could magic that away I'd be made up mate.
I wish I could mate. But all I have are sensible words to try and counter the professional scaremongers doom and gloom. They are a plague on us.

At least if we wrap three points up tomorrow we can get a breather from them as they disappear back into their bunker again.

You can understand why people are a bit miffed like though yeah?

Looking at today's results I think we'll finish 10th, if we somehow get to the semi or final of the EL it's wont have been the worse season really.
Keep posting mate. We need all the optimists we have to counter the doom squad doing their best to scare the sh1t out of decent people.
