I'm not about to jump on him for this season, its a double edged sword whilst we're progress in Europe and on the back of last seasons sucess and the purchases of players like Barry & Lukaku - we're defo progressing, but the footy in the league leaves a lot to be desired, i'm sure he is as concerned as us. That said, we lose at home tomorrow i'll be very, very concerned.
I don't think we are progressing mate.
I think we are going backwards .
We have gone from a top 5 team to a bottom 6 team in 12 months also the football was great last season but this season its been dire.
Its still in his hands but he needs to change it now

No most fans are pissed we are in a relegation scrap with this group of players.
You keep on enjoying it your the only one
But you were happy with last seasons footy.

Take the rough with the smooth. Great first season, rubbish second.

We move on to season three and see how RM does then.

on a serious note, we will be fine lids. Love having a laugh over the doom and gloom but we will be okay when all is done. Sunderland are dump.

I was happy last year but to be in a relegation fight with this squad playing the turgid football we have been playing is criminal.
I would have been happy playing the football we played last year this season and being in mid table but to change the style and keep with it with the results we have has is insane.

Yep. There is enough firepower to dig us out of this hole if it is used properly. After Thursday the penny must surely have dropped that we can't start off the upcoming games playing tippy-tappy across the back at a snail's pace, in an attempt to bore the opposition to death. The crowd have let him know that they are not having it anymore.

It really is up to him to jib off his principled crab style football and adapt, at least until the end of the season.

If he doesn't, he knows where the door is.

He didn't change it mate, he relied on keeping the same personnel and not bringing in key replacements.

We'll get there don't worry.

This season is ridiculous...3 points off the bottom three is 'panic stations' time.

I want to give martinez time and without him i don't think we could have attracted lukaku etc..i also think he would be the right man to get us into top 4...when he gets it right it's better than anything we produced under moyes

BUT

We lose tomorrow and it will get to the point where kenwright might think he has to get rid of him and bring someone else in for some short term results. If we get relegated it would ruin us! The worrying thing is that even though we have 'easy games' coming up...i can't forget our performances home to leicester, away to hull, soton and newcastle etc etc etc... If we play like that v qpr/villa/sunderland we are going down no two ways about it.

Hopefully we start fast tomorrow, get the stadium nice and loud and prove that , yeah, we actually are too good to go down.

We're already in trouble! 2 teams below us just got huge morale boosting wins. We're 3 points from the relegation zone and our league form is worse than everyone around us.

I agree, but win tomorrow and the 6 point gap and a bit of confidence relieves the pressure.

Also Villa had the worse form in the league, things change quickly. A good win and our outlook changes

He has changed it though.
Last season we were quick we had more players in the oppositions half and we mixed it up a bit.
I also think we have better players this season yes gerry was class at times but he was up and down.
I really hope he learns from thursday and we go on a winning run
