Re-claiming the city of Liverpool

Years ago a mate of mine from London, Millwall fan, used to go regularly to Liverpool (the city) to work. He once told me "Look Ged, don't want to upset you but I have been in Liverpool on many saturdays and when LFC play it is packed with fans, when EFC play there are hardly any in town". I told him, yep, because when we play most of our fans go to Goodison from home, no need for most to go into the city centre. When they play, many of their "fans" are in hotels, or come from the airport, or arrive at Lime St station. They then go in their city centre shops, and restuatants, etc."
He then got it.
So, now, with the new ground location, that has changed a bit, right?
