I was with 2 Norwegians, one of whom has been coming over to Goodison since 1975.We got to the Railway Inn at opening time (10.00). By 10.20, it was full inside and outside. Koff back to Norway.

Old school Norwegians are exempt from criticism. The modern day glory hunters are different gravy.I was with 2 Norwegians, one of whom has been coming over to Goodison since 1975.
Exactly this. I said something similar in another thread. The big takeaway from yesterday for me was that we own the city from Albert Dock to Bramley Moore Dock and that’s the heartland of historic Liverpool.I still haven’t come back down to earth yet after yesterday.
(to be fair, it is a long way down from the 61st row of our new reidence)
One thing that struck me yesterday morning was how visible Everton was in the city centre.
A constant stream of blue clad fans along Paradise Street and Hannover Street heading to Liverpool One bus stand to catch the 929.
And I was early, around 11.15.
I can only imagine the scene an hour later.
Then as the bus made its way along the Strand there were hundreds walking.
Walking back along Regent Road was like Wembley Way on Cup Final day.
What I liked best was stopping for a beer in that pub which used to be called the Jurgen Klopp.
Now an Everton pub
On into town and Evertonians were visible everywhere.
One of the by products of Hill Dickinson will be to make the club’s presence felt in those touristy areas around Pier Head and Albert Dock on match days.
Let people from other lands that there is more to football in Liverpool than the RS.

Yes they do, but in a less angry way xDon't they do that when they're not angry too?
And that’s why I completely ignore them and their establishment mates in the print and broadcast media. They hate Everton more than any football club on this planet.
All the stuff about City and United and is utter tosh.
They know what we know: we're the football club of the city of Liverpool. They know that they're fakes. That's what gnaws away at them.

THAT statement really riles them. Because it is true. It needs to be on banners and walls and on the stadium somewhere. We built this City
