RB Leipzig

Well that's where Vermeeren's squad omission is taking him. Signed on loan in Jan, permanency triggered after a few appearances, but never looked up to the level required. Far too slow and ponderous on the ball which is a shame as he seemed a great prospect in Belgium. Good luck, now bring me Marlon Gomes.

do u watch frankfurt too

why are their scouts so good, sold marmoush and ekitike

yet keep finding new talent like bahoya
their new Japanese winger doan scoring for fun as well

Yes mate, watch a lot of other German teams (if the matches don't clash). Frankfut have been trading very well for years now. You can take more transfer risks in the Bundesliga too which is always handy when signing players from lesser leagues. They signed Hugo Larsson for €9m a couple of years back and will flip him for 50+ next year.

Seems Openda to Juve will get done - loan + obligation (as is the way in Italy).

Slightly concerned that in one Summer the club have sold on 3 players that scored/assisted 121 goals in the last two league seasons! So much pressure on the new signings to do the business now.

Xavi has gone, finally, glad it was Spurs and not Chelsea for him, just wish it was sooner as now the clock is ticking on a replacement. Was meant to be Harvey Elliot but seems like he's maybe too expensive now. Going into the season with two attacking mids of Baumgartner and Ouedraogo would be... bad.

But can he cut it in the PL?

Or he just become another name on the long list of Dutch/German players who struggled when they came over because they found the PL to be too tough and physical to handle?

@Yid4life Thoughts, mate?

Xavi? Nah he's definitely suited to PL football. Can't predict an explosive start but would be shockedif he flopped. He's been getting hacked down and battered since he was a kid.

He looks the part for sure. I have a feeling this kid could actually be decent for us. Might take him some time to get used to the Premier League but I am pleased with the signing.

Muani is a good stopgap while Solanke is out (longer than the club is indicating in my opinion). His goal scoring record was decent at Juve and Frankfurt (1 in 2) but only 1 in 4 at PSG.

Missed the last two games on my hols, missed first 20 mins here, but it’s a 1-0 victory and 4 league wins on the spin.

Possibly one of the worst second half performances I’ve ever seen though from any team and Wolfsburg very unlucky not to win it.

Baumgartner needs sacking on the spot for hitting a penalty wide.

RBL Matchday

Battle of the pretenders this afternoon with Leipzig travelling to Dortmund for a chance to secure 2nd place. Dortmund are quite heavy favourites I'd say after having a much more settled start to the season and less teething problems than RBL are having under Werner. Only change, sadly, to the Wolfsburg win is Nusa coming in for Diomande (undeserved) with Baumgartner retaining his place ahead of Banzuzi which I think might backfire. I can see lots of goals in this game, either from both sides, or from Dortmund walloping Leipzig. If they defend in the same manner as Wolfsburg they will be punished heavily.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm
