RB Leipzig

1-1 FT

You know what, that was a really good away performance actually. Dominated most of the second half and forced a few good saves. Defensively a lot more solid too which was nice to see. Not going into the international break with a defeat always helps with the Bulls remaining 3rd.

RBL Matchday

We back, we clash with Everton, we watch this instead because a much higher probability of not getting slapped. Same lineup as the Dortmund game, which is a shame since Nusa is wank for Leipzig and Diomande isn't - pressure is on him to perform for someone that isn't Norway for once. Schlager is back on the bench which is good news but he needs wrapping in polystyrene. First time I get to see Vuskovic for Hamburg as well who is meant to be an unreal talent at centre half. It's a return to RBL for Yussi Poulsen but he is only on the bench to start. Hamburg have had a fairly decent start to their first year back in the BuLi (2W, 2D, 2L) but this will be seen as almost must win for RB if they hope to make CL next season. Really need to try overtake Dortmund this weekend.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm

1-0 RBL

Right on the stroke of half-time Baumgartner scores yet again aster I spend 45 mins whinging at him for being crap. Keep it up lad.

Been a very slow, patient half without much excitement.

2-1 FT

RB temporarily up to 2nd before Der Klassiker later on which, tbh, would be good with a Dortmund win to keep it nice and tight at the top. RBL just shade today but really need to take the handbrakes off a little going forwards.

RBL Matchday

No Everton today so can actually concentrate on the Leipzig game which usually clashes. It's an away trip to Augsburg, with 4 draws in the last 4 meetings, so if I was a betting man... probably be a 6-0 Augsburg win. Usual starting lineup for RB except Diomande in for Bakayoko who makes the bench after picking up a knock during the week. This game is going to be brutal and will require a moment or two of pure magic to pick up the 3 points - the side really need to let themselves off the leash as good as it is keeping the defense tight. Gonna keep an eye on Matsima at the back who is linked to RB and has had a top season so far.

Match is LIVE from 14.30pm

5-0

They’ve started the second half really crap and lethargic which is probably just because of the big lead but another goal goes in. This time a nice 1-2 with Baumi is finished by Assan. One more goal and the Bayern game is cancelled out 😅
