Ratings vs Spurs

I doubt it mate, you've heard Moyes recently, neither of them will be fit enough to start. Probably a half each. Let's be honest, we are gonna get ******* tonked.

Howard - 7.5

Neill - 5
Hibbert - 7
Yobo - should never have even started but thanks for trying Joey
Baines - 6

Pienaar - 7.5
Fellaini - 8
Rodwell - 6.5
Bilyaletdinov - 5.5

Cahill - 7

Jo - 6

Subs:

Coleman - 9
Yakubu - 5
Saha - 8

I think hibbert gets high ratings because everyone expects so little especially when he's playing out of position. I think he got lucky a few times.

Hibbert didn't do very well today. I'm really not one to use him as an easy scapegoat, but he let Crouch and Defoe in once each in the first half, gave away a pen and was perhaps at fault for their first goal. His best contribution was that last-ditch tackle on Defoe as he was bearing down on goal, but Defoe was only in that position anyway because Hibbert had charged out of position with the ball and given it away cheaply.

I thought Neill did better out of the two, though he was at fault for a goal too. No-one else seemed to see that bit when he sent Crouch flying after Peter had gotten a bit big for his boots kicking Fellaini.

I thought Coleman looked vulnerable and erratic in possession but then he had an immense game-saving last 20 minutes. Hope to see more of him in the first team soon.

Fellaini was close to his best today I love watching the big loon, hope the goals come back for him soon. Loved the Maradona turn he nearly pulled off around the 80 minute mark. He's one of our most skillful players shame his lack of mobility prohibits him from making the most of it.

One of Bily's worst games for us so far but he still showed glimpses of flair, I have absolute faith that he'll be a big player for us for years. If we had more options out wide I think he could be moved inside to compensate for Arteta's absence to good effect.

Pienaar was good, about what I expect from him these days, played a particularly great through ball for Rodwell early on.

Yakubu was fine when he got on, I actually think he's playing well in his brief cameos. Snatched at a decent chance at one point having gotten away from Bassong, probably would've scored had he been more match fit.

Saha changed the game atleast as much as Coleman, though to be fair it wasn't his home debut. Has been pretty much the only unqualified success of our season so far. A mate of mine is always arguing that Yakubu has more to his game but I think he's nuts. Louis looked proper up for it, dropped deep to get the ball numerous times and carried it for us better than anyone on the pitch. Took his goal well and was very unlucky that his overhead kick didn't go in, would've been spectacular. The best center forward that I can remember playing for Everton, if it wasn't for Fellaini's hair and the bizarre shape of Yakubu's head he'd be my favourite Everton player by a mile.

What the hell is wrong with the yak these days?? He's as lazy as buffaloes really. No wonder he's on the bench and people call jo [Poor language removed]? Atlest Jo runs and puts in alot of effort even when he's having an off day

Jo runs? when does he do that? He never runs. He jogs at best.

I just watched a replay of the game and Lucas Neill played better then many on here are saying. I would say his rating should be 7.

Sorry mate I thought he was the weakest link in our defence, continual watched players rather than where the ball was, he was mainly responsible for Dawson scoring, didn't have a clue about that cross

I agree monty he was poor.
Maybe he needs a run in the team to get up to speed again

Apart from the Dawson goal I thought he was pretty solid.

Neil has his good days and bad. Yesterday seemed to be bad for me. Dawson should never have had the space for that header. But I have enjoyed his play as of late. He has contributed with great effect on setting up some strikes in recent weeks.
