I've literally seen nothing like him before. Surely it's some pisstake that Gerrard signed him thinking he was a player? He ran about seemingly not knowing about the offside rule for 90 minutes. When he did get the ball he passed it to an Aberdeen player.

The feller topped it all off by rounding the GK (somehow!) and instead of rolling the ball into an empty net chose to throw himself to the ground for a penalty...and got booked for it!

Not to the extent that they put all effort into one competition at the expense of another, which is what he's blatantly doing there.

Rangers fans are more desperate to see the ending of the propsect of a never-been-done 10-in-a-row than beatiing level 2 Euro clubs to get out of their EL group.

It'll be 8-in-a-row for Celtic this season, and too close to comfort for them.

Every other Rangers manager would have gotten that. Stevie Me isn't arsed though. It's all about him...and always has been.

In the group stage both Spartak, and Villarreal, have payed a team of reserves, and Rapid we’re on the crest of a slump. I think both Rapid,and Spartak, sacked their manager just before they were due to play Rangers.

If you consider the atmosphere at their home games in Europe, which tends to improve the players performances and the weakened teams they’ve faced, it shows the results they’ve had may not be as impressive as they seem at face value.

I don’t know what Gerrard is thinking, but I would imagine he wants to win every competition Rangers compete in, but in domestic games the opposition are desperate to get a result, and play a full strength side, whereas in the Europa League group games two of the teams they’ve faced have fielded reserve teams, and the other is in crisis, which have made their results appear better than they really are.

Funny to see Stevie Me's post-match comments - I'll take all the blame for the loss etc etc being the hero boss taking the flak for his team. The other guy who was on the panel asked how did he know, and asked if Adam had seen Sadiq,play, and Adam replied that he hadn’t seen him, but he played for Roma, so he must be good. You have to wonder what the hell Roma saw in him?
